Not my own words, but they spoke to me today … πŸ•Š

 In Meditation, peace, pranayama
THROUGHOUT this week, we will benefit by being especially flexible in our thinking, and in our perceptions of reality. We need to be patient with ourselves and others, and with our natural tendency to want the world to make sense according to what we have always thought, or been taught. This is the time to expand beyond limited thinking, to allow new synapses to form in our brains.
And, we want to be especially mindful of self-care. Drink more water, ground yourself more often, remember to pause several times throughout the day and take three slow, deep breaths — in and out, in and out. Be aware that you’ll be more tired than usual, since your electrical circuits are constantly being fired, and can easily become fried. Limit your exposure to electromagnetic radiation, which even in low doses affects our brain waves. Set down the cell phone, step away from the computer, turn off the TV.
Give yourself the gift we seem to rarely accept these days: Take a few minutes to simply sitΒ in the silence and gaze at clouds, watch a sunset, or observe how the breeze gently stirs the leaves on the tree. Uranus in Taurus will honor your efforts to connect with Nature, and Mercury in Pisces will appreciate your moving into a state of mental rest. In return, the two may very well reward you with the insights you’ve been longing to receive.
